Updated Admission Options

Test-Optional & Test-Blind Options

The UIS application for admission does NOT require ACT/SAT scores for first-year students who will start college Summer 2021, Fall 2021 or Spring 2022.

Prospective first-year students admitted to UIS with an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or better will be eligible for merit scholarships up to $8,000 or more – whether or not test scores are included in students’ applications. Check out your potential merit scholarship for the year and all four years. Plus, compare your annual tuition and fee costs after scholarships are applied.

No GMAT? No GRE? No problem! - No tests are required for application to UIS Graduate programs.

For additional information on the new testing requirements, contact the Office of Admission.
