Getting ready for college can feel overwhelming, especially while you’re still trying to balance all the fun activities of senior year. Between applications, campus tours and figuring out what you want to study, it’s easy to lose track of what needs to happen when.

As part of our NorthStar priorities, the Campus Services unit will be sunsetted after extensive review with help from the University of Illinois System. Clients who use Campus Services frequently are being contacted to plan immediate projects. Job requests will be accepted until Nov. 21, and an operational plan is being drafted to meet the needs of the university in 2026 and beyond.
Mail and Central Receiving services are transitioning to Facilities and Services. Facilities is reviewing workflows and will share if there will be changes to processes regarding mail services.

The Office of Strategic Communications will be hosting two Open Photo Studio sessions for Fall 2025 for all staff or faculty. The photos can be used for university purposes such as department websites, campus directory, speaking engagements at conferences, etc. Any staff or faculty member who either hasn’t had their portrait taken or would like another, more recent, portrait taken are encouraged to attend.
