Annual Evaluations begin April 1, 2025

Human Resources is pleased to present an updated electronic version of the Annual Performance Evaluation for Civil Service and Academic Professional employees to be used as of April 1, 2025.  Here are the changes we made this year to the structure, rankings, and functionality:

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

The University of Illinois Springfield believes in promoting a positive work environment for all employees.  As such, when an employee alleges that the University has violated the terms and conditions of employment contained in their respective bargaining agreement (i.e., committed a grievance), we encourage our supervisors and employees to attempt to resolve the matter between them.

Classification

Here you will find information about civil service classifications and compensation at UIS.  Guidelines for determining the proper classification for a position are set forth by the State Universities Civil Service System (SUCSS). Some positions may be exempted from the Civil Service Classification System.  A new exemption procedure to define
