About the Center
The Center for Academic Success opened in 2014, bringing together six key academic support units including: The Intensive English Program, International Programs, Internships and Prior Learning, Testing Services, The Learning Hub and the Office of Advising Services, Information and Support (OASIS). These units work collaboratively to support student success and to help students achieve academic goals.
In 2019, the Center for Academic Success was restructured. The Intensive English Program was closed, and International Programs and Internships and Prior Learning were shifted under the Office of Engaged Learning. The Center for Academic Success currently contains Advising Services, The Learning Hub and Testing Services.
The Center is led by a director, Dr. Tarah Sweeting-Trotter, and is supported by a staff of highly-trained academic professionals.
