SNOW REMOVAL AND PARKING
This winter there will be times after a significant snowfall where Facilities & Services will need your help as they work to clear parking lots of snow. The university’s overall goal is to provide the UIS community with safe and accessible parking after a significant snowfall. Working together, we can make this happen by implementing a “Snow Parking Day” after a significant snowfall.

Lot Availability Notice
Please note that due to constructions projects, one parking lot is closed for the near future. Use the online parking map below to find an alternative parking lot.
UIS employees that purchase their parking hang tag through payroll deduction were sent an email reminder in July that payroll deduction for their parking hang tag would automatically renew and that a new parking hang tag would be delivered to their campus address.
Please be aware that those parking tags were distributed last week and remember to look for your new parking hang tag!

Visitor Parking
Welcome to our campus! Visitors will find convenient parking options in individual metered spaces or in parking lots with pay stations.
Parking rates are $1.50 per hour, with a 1 hour minimum.

Residential Student Parking
Residential Student Parking
A residential parking hang tag authorizes parking in a specific residential parking lot. It does not authorize parking in all residential parking lots.
Residential parking hang tags are also valid in lots I-South and J.
Residential hang tags are not valid in Economy (yellow) or Standard (blue) non-residential campus lots.
PERKS spaces are reserved for those who have purchased a PERKS hang tag.
