Please be advised that next Wednesday, January 11, Parking Lots C-South, C-North, D, E and the PAC teardrop will be closed to campus for parking due to the Illinois House of Representatives Inauguration ceremony.
SMTD bus service will not be provided in the PAC teardrop and will be reduced to service only at the bus shelter located next to Founders Residence Hall at Eliza Farnham and Vachel Lindsay Drive from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

On Wednesday, November 2, the UIS Office of Advancement is hosting the UIS Scholarship luncheon at the Student Union.
Therefore, please be aware, on Wednesday, November 2, Parking Lot J and a section of Lot F will be closed to campus for parking due to this event. PERKS parking will still be allowed in parking lots F and J.
On this date, please make sure to plan accordingly and utilize alternate parking lots authorized by your parking permit.

This Friday, October 28, Parking Lot A will be partially closed to parking for the Trunk or Treat for Canned Goods Event.
Although ALL economy and a portion of standard parking spaces will remain available for parking, a section of standard parking spaces will be closed to parking for purposes of this event.

The UIS Police Department presents training classes on ways to minimize your risk during an active shooter / active threat incident. The next class will be on Wednesday, September 21st, at 2:00pm in Brookens Auditorium. The class will be approximately 1 hour in length.
Please make sure to obtain a current and valid 2022-2023 parking hang tag.
Complete the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION and then Stop by the Student Union Room 235
to pick up your parking hang tag during any of the remaining Parking Hang Tag Distribution dates and times.
