Greetings Campus Community,

Please be aware that crews will be on campus beginning the week of March 9 to start work on the electric vehicle (EV) charging station project. In collaboration with the City of Springfield, EV charging stations will be installed in the northwest corner of Parking Lot I-North. The stations will be managed and maintained by CWLP, including the establishment and collection of any associated usage fees once the stations are operational.

Dear Campus Community,

We're writing to remind everyone about the importance of adhering to our campus parking regulations, specifically regarding the use of parking hang tags.

To assist the university in snow removal, on Monday, January 26 all students and employees should park in a plowed parking area regardless of your parking hangtag. During a Snow Parking Day, vehicles parked in standard permit lots (blue stripes) with economy permits (yellow tags) will not be ticketed for unassigned lot violations.

Greetings Campus Community,

The roofing contractor will have a crane on site on Friday, Sept. 19 to remove roofing debris off of Founders Residence Hall. The crane will be positioned on the west side of Founders, just off Eliza Farnham Drive. The bus stop on that corner will remain open and accessible. The red rectangle on the included image indicates the approximate location for the crane.

Please use caution if you need to travel near the residence hall. Construction zones and equipment placement areas will be marked to assist with navigation and ensure safety.

Work begins September 5 on the PAC Roof Replacement Project. Contractor equipment and materials will be staged in the lot on the southwest side of the building, near the loading dock and stage door.

For safety reasons, this lot will be closed to all non-contractor vehicles from September 4 to October 25, to provide a dedicated area for roofing crews to safely operate and work.
