To assist the university in snow removal, on Monday, January 26 all students and employees should park in a plowed parking area regardless of your parking hangtag. During a Snow Parking Day, vehicles parked in standard permit lots (blue stripes) with economy permits (yellow tags) will not be ticketed for unassigned lot violations. 

Snow Clearing Plan

The Grounds team will start early to clear pedestrian walkways and the parking areas closest to academic buildings first, then move to outer parking areas.

Parking Restrictions

Snow Parking Days do not allow unauthorized parking in spaces requiring a special permit (e.g., ADA spaces, reserved PERKS) or prohibited parking areas such as emergency and fire lanes. Vehicles will be subject to ticketing and towing for unauthorized or unsafe parking. 

Residential Lots

The university will clear the snow in the residential lots as efficiently and safely as possible.
