Central and Southern Illinois Faculty Development Network Presents: DEI/Anti-Racist Teaching
In this session, we will watch Loretta J. Ross’ TED talk, “Don't call people out -- call them in” and discuss strategies for interrupting bias through conversation, encouragement, and openness. We’ll explore how Calling In strategies build compassion and growth in students, encourage dialog, and build understanding across differences. I’ll share conversation starters, considerations, and tips for practicing "Calling In" in your classroom.
