The University Senates Conference (USC), in conjunction with various stakeholders of the University of Illinois System, has proposed significant changes to the Code of Conduct.  USC has requested feedback on this new University of Illinois System Values and Principles for Conduct document from each University within the System, to be collected by the respective Campus Senate.

The UIS Police Department will be conducting a brief lockdown test of the swipe card door access system from 8:45am until approximately 9:00am on Thursday, November 16.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  This test will not include any testing of the audible notification systems.  If you have any additional considerations that may require access to swipe card doors during these times, please contact our department in advance via e-mail or phone.

On Wednesday, November 8, the UIS Office of Advancement is hosting the UIS Scholarship luncheon at the Student Union.

Therefore, please be aware, on Wednesday, November 8, Parking Lot J and a section of Lot F will be closed to campus for parking due to this event. 

PERKS spaces remain available for PERKS permit members to park in their designated space.

On this date, please make sure to plan accordingly and utilize alternate parking lots authorized by your parking hang tag.
