Iowa Law Bridge Program 2024

About the Event

The University of Iowa College of Law invites you to the Law Bridge 2024 program. The program is designed to introduce diverse, under-represented, and non-traditional students to law school. This program is a way for you to learn what it is like to be a law student, develop a strong application, take two mock law classes, and listen and interact with current and former law students.

Schedule:

April 5: Introduction, followed by sessions on law careers, a mock class, law school tours, and group work.

The University of Illinois Springfield School of Education has been awarded a $145,000 grant from Grow Your Own Teachers (GYO) to develop a consortium aimed at addressing teacher shortages in central Illinois.

The University of Illinois Springfield has released the names of the 681 students who made the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2023.

A total of 99 students in the College of Business and Management; 325 students in the College of Health, Science and Technology; 101 students in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences; 128 students in the College of Public Affairs and Education; and 28 non-degree seeking or undecided students made the list.

Jennifer Martin, an associate professor in the University of Illinois Springfield’s School of Education, has been selected to receive the Truman L. Kelley Award for Scholarship Excellence from Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), a national educational honor society. The award will be presented during KDP’s first-ever virtual Founders Day Celebration on March 8.
