Dear UIS Students, Faculty and Staff —

This week, Ann Comerford offered her resignation in the role of Interim Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, and I have accepted it. Ann will assume her permanent duties overseeing Student Affairs’ auxiliary services effective today. I greatly appreciate Ann’s leadership in this important role, which she has held since June 2021. I anticipate announcing our permanent Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, following the completion of a successful search, very soon. Prior to that individual’s start at UIS, I will be asking members of the Student Affairs executive team to assist with leadership responsibilities for the division. I ask for your patience and continued support as we work though this transition.
