This week, UIS baseball begins conference play at home, while softball has both home and way games in its first conference weekend. The golf teams are opening their seasons out of state, and tennis has the week off.

Monday
All Day – Men's Golf at the Las Vegas Desert Classic
The tournament begins Monday after Sunday's first round was canceled due to high winds in Nevada. This is the season-opening competition for the Prairie Stars, who will now compete over two 18-hole rounds on Monday and Tuesday.
Tuesday
All Day – Men's Golf at the Las Vegas Desert Classic
UIS finishes up the Las Vegas Desert Classic with one final round.
Friday
1:00 p.m. – Baseball vs Lewis (Home)
The Prairie Stars (5-5) welcome the Flyers (5-3) to the UIS Baseball Field for a four-game GLVC series, starting with Friday's nine-inning game. UIS defeated Thomas More 7-4, 7-3 on Friday on the road. Lewis won four games against Upper Iowa outside of conference play this past weekend.
1:00 & 3:00 p.m. – Softball at Truman State
The Prairie Stars (10-7) and the Bulldogs (12-11) meet in Kirksville for the beginning of conference play. UIS has momentum going after five wins, three against Purdue Northwest and two against Lake Erie, at its home tournament over the weekend. Truman State had a 1-3 weekend at the Showtime Classic, falling to Central Oklahoma and Nebraska-Kearney, splitting with Missouri Southern.
Saturday
12:00 & 3:00 p.m. – Baseball vs Lewis (Home)
The series between UIS and Lewis continues with a pair of seven-inning games.

Sunday
All Day – Women's Golf at the Emerald Coast Classic
The spring 2025 women's golf season begins Sunday at the Emerald Coast Classic, hosted by Missouri-St. Louis in Destin, FL.
12:00 p.m. – Baseball vs Lewis (Home)
The series will conclude with one final nine-inning game on Sunday.
12:00 & 3:00 p.m. – Softball vs Quincy (Home)
The Prairie Stars welcome the Hawks (2-12) to the UIS Softball Complex for the first home conference doubleheader of 2025. Quincy competed at the Springfield Invite over the weekend, beating Lake Erie 10-0 and 3-2 before falling 15-13, 9-5 to Purdue Northwest.
