The UIS women's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of the Emerald Coast Classic at Sandestin Baytowne Golf Club on Monday. The Prairie Stars sit in 13th place in the 18-team field heading into the final round.

Round One
  • Elaine Grant led the Prairie Stars with a solid opening round of 75 (+4), carding three birdies to finish the round tied for 16th overall.
  • Ira Joshi posted a score of 79 (+8), highlighted by a birdie on the par-5 fifth hole.
  • Sara Prieto finished with an 80 (+9), while Isabelle Segal added an 87 (+16) in the first round.
  • Lia Rody debuted for the Prairie Stars, shooting a 93 (+22) in the opening round.
Round Two
  • Grant continued her strong play with an even-par 71 in the second round, moving her to +4 overall 13th on the leaderboard.
  • Prieto improved with a 75 (+4) in the second round, bringing her total to +13.
  • Rody bounced back with a 77 (+6) to give the team a boost.
  • Joshi followed with a steady 78 (+7) to sit at +15 through two rounds.
  • Segal showed improvement with an 83 (+12) in the second round.
UIS will conclude play in the final round on Tuesday.
