The Illinois Springfield women's golf team concluded its run at the Emerald Coast Classic on Tuesday, finishing 16th out of 18 teams at the Sandestin Baytowne Golf Club.

Round Three
  • Elaine Grant capped off a strong tournament performance with a final-round 74 (+3), ending the event at +7 overall. Grant's steady play placed her 19th individually in the 96-player field.
  • Lia Rody recorded a 75 (+4) in Tuesday's final round, completing her tournament at +32.
  • Ira Joshi posted an 80 (+9) in the closing round to finish at +24 overall, while Sara Prieto carded an 81 (+10) to wrap up her week at +23.
  • Isabelle Segal rounded out the Prairie Stars lineup with a 91 (+20), closing her tournament at +48.
Tournament Recap
  • The Prairie Stars posted team scores of 321, 301, and 310 to finish with a total score of 932 (+80). Glenville State claimed the team title at +91, while Columbus State finished second at +138.
  • Grant led UIS throughout the tournament, opening with a 75 (+4) in round one before firing an even-par 71 in round two. Her final-round 74 secured a top-20 individual finish and capped a consistent performance across all three rounds.
  • Sara Prieto and Lia Rody also contributed steady play throughout the tournament. Prieto shot an opening-round 80 (+9) before bouncing back with a second-round 75 (+4). She added an 81 (+10) on Tuesday to finish at +23. Rody showed significant improvement after her first-round 93 (+22), carding a 77 (+6) in round two and a 75 (+4) in round three to close at 32 over par.
  • Ira Joshi provided consistent scores, shooting 79 (+8) in the opening round, 78 (+7) in round two, and an 80 (+9) in the final round to finish at +24.
  • Isabelle Segal improved from her first-round 87 (+16) with an 83 (+12) in round two before closing with a 91 (+20).
  • As a team, UIS posted scores of 321, 301, and 310 to finish at 932 (+80). The Prairie Stars averaged 3.51 strokes on par-3 holes, 4.61 on par 4s, and 5.22 on par 5s. The team combined for 18 birdies and 138 pars over the three rounds
