The University of Illinois Springfield has a long history of excellence in online learning. UIS is proud to add four new, 100% online, accelerated graduate programs to the 52 graduate and undergraduate programs offered.

By adding new graduate business degrees online, UIS is designing its portfolio to help a variety of potential students, the vast majority of which will be working adults.

New online degrees starting in October 2021 include:

  • General MBA (with concentrations in applied finance, human resource management and operations & supply chain management)
  • MS in Finance

New online degrees starting in Spring 2022 include:

  • MS in Human Resource Management
  • MS in Healthcare Informatics

The College of Business and Management at UIS announced it is working with Academic Partnerships (AP) to provide its highly sought-after and affordable graduate business degree programs through an online format.

UIS’s commitment to being a pathway to opportunity, a catalyst for change and a space of possibility aligns well with AP’s mission to expand access to top-quality, affordable and workforce relevant education online.

“The programs will leverage UIS faculty to bring cutting-edge, market-relevant and employable programs to the region,” said Somnath Bhattacharya, dean of the UIS College of Business and Management.

Additionally, three online certificates in applied finance, human resource management and operations and supply chain management, will be starting in Spring 2022.

Helping facilitate this expanded affordable and quality delivery model is Academic Partnerships, a leading online facilitator in the U.S. based in Dallas, Texas. AP is a partner to more than 50 universities across the country, primarily regional public universities.

“AP is very pleased to work with UIS to help them offer their high-quality and affordable graduate business programs,” said Howard Rouse, AP’s president and chief operating officer. “AP helps power UIS’s online programs by providing support services for non-academic functions. UIS can then focus on doing what they do best – curriculum, instruction, student support and all other academic functions and decisions including admissions. In this way, we are fully aligned toward driving student success.”

With affordable tuition of just under $16,000 for the entire graduate business degree, UIS’s graduate programs are flexible and convenient and they are led by highly qualified, supportive UIS faculty.
