February 12 marked an important milestone with the virtual grand opening of the UIS Center for Lincoln Studies. The Center is expected to be a national base for scholarship, teaching and public history about Lincoln’s life, leadership and legacy. Wepner Distinguished Professor of Lincoln Studies, Dr. Graham Peck, says, “It is beholden upon us to share what is important about him, and how his legacy can resonate today, nationally and abroad.”
