I am thrilled to share that we are offering faculty and staff the opportunity to attend another on-campus Professional Development Retreat as part of our Rise initiative. This semester’s retreat will take place Friday, March 1, and is focused on Redefining Workplace Culture.
The full retreat experience will include a continental breakfast in the Public Affairs Center first-floor lobby; workshop sessions offered by UIS and UI System experts; and a boxed lunch in the Student Union featuring an interactive keynote speech on “Brave Teams Build Trust” by UIS alum Tess Fyalka, who has more than 25 years of experience as a leadership development coach, team coach and corporate trainer.
