As you are about to start on your college journey, or continue your college experience, or return to college for more studies, I want to confirm you all made the right choice in pursuing your education here in the College of Public Affairs and Education at UIS!
The faculty and staff and fellow students all combine to make this College and UIS a very special place. Yes, to learn, but equally to expand your horizons and make new friends. The “ball is in your court” and I encourage each of you to make the most of it in the classroom, library, union, athletic field and in the City of Springfield itself.
This College is about “Public Affairs and Education,” but we are so much more and offer a variety of degrees and experiences that allow you to apply what you learn and prepare for career journeys that help advance the public good.
