We are approaching the time of year when the University must make the first transfer of leave usage to Banner from our new Civil Service Exempt Vacation and Sick Leave Recording (VSL) system.
Civil Service Exempt Employees
Please log in and submit/verify any time used during this academic year that began 8/21/2022 through 4/29/2023. Once all time requests have been approved by your supervisor, click the “Finalize Period” option for any Quarters 1, 2, and/or 3 that have not yet been finalized. Please complete all steps by 5/3/2023.
Supervisors of Civil Service Exempt Employees
Please log in to VSL to ensure all employee requests have been completed and let your employees know they may now finalize their time from 8/21/2022-4/29/2023. Please complete your steps by 5/2/2023.
Please take note that Quarter 3 is open through 4/29/2023 and cannot be finalized until after that day.
This announcement is also not applicable to System Office employees located on the Springfield campus who have a separate Human Resources department. Please watch for information coming soon from System HR for those links and steps.
