Conference opponent Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) hosts the Arch Cup at Gateway National in Madison, Ill. This marks the first event for new head coach Josh Edison, with a lineup that features several newcomers joining a strong core of returners.

Thursday, Sept. 4
4:00 p.m. – Men's Soccer at Alabama-Huntsville
Men's soccer officially opens the 2025 season on the road. UIS is 1-1 all-time against UAH, though those meetings came back in 1979 and 1981. This will be the first matchup in the Division II era. UIS looks to set a positive tone for the 2025 season.

Friday, Sept. 5
9:30 a.m. – Volleyball vs. Central Missouri (HOME)
The Prairie Stars kick off the Illinois National Guard UIS Invitational with a matchup against Central Missouri. It's the first time the teams have met since 2014, when the Jennies swept the Stars. Now under new head coach Laura Ulrich, UIS looks to flip the script in the regular-season opener.

5:30 p.m. – Women's Cross Country, 10th Annual Prairie Stars Invitational (HOME)
UIS celebrates the 10th anniversary of its cross country program with the lone home meet of the year. The women's 5k will feature strong competition from across Illinois and several GLVC opponents. 6:15 p.m. – Men's Cross Country, 10th Annual Prairie Stars Invitational (HOME)
The celebration continues with the men's 7k. Another chance to see the Prairie Stars on home turf against quality competition.

7:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer at Kentucky Wesleyan
UIS opens its season in Owensboro, Ky., against the Panthers. The Stars lead the all-time series 3-1-1, though the teams haven't met since 2016. A great early test after preseason tune-ups.

7:30 p.m. – Volleyball vs. Lake Superior State (HOME)
Friday night lights inside TRAC! UIS hosts Lake Superior State in a matchup that students won't want to miss. The series is tied 1-1, with the last meeting in 2012. Time to break the tie!

Saturday, Sept. 6
