Weekend play continues into the start of the new week for women's golf and tennis. Looking ahead to the weekend, soccer is on the road and volleyball returns to TRAC, both in GLVC play. It's also a big weekend for UIS cross country at the Lewis Crossover.

Monday, Oct. 6
9:00 a.m. CT – Women's Tennis at ITA Regional
Freshman Alisha Deogaonkar will compete in the ITA Regional Small College Championships Flight C semifinal, looking for a chance to compete for the Flight C title.

All Day – Women's Golf at Bill Crabtree Invitational
UIS, in second place after Sunday's opening round, will compete in the final round in Owensboro, Ky., at the Pearl Club. Elaine Grant is in third, Yi-Ting Hsieh in a tie for fourth. The team aims to chase GLVC foe Maryville and hold off Thomas More.

Friday, Oct. 10
3:00 p.m. – Softball vs. Lincoln Land Community College (HOME)
The Prairie Stars will play a Friday evening doubleheader against neighboring junior college Lincoln Land.

5:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer at Lincoln
The Prairie Stars (1-6-3, 0-5-2 GLVC) look to rebound after losses to Drury and Missouri S&T last weekend. The Blue Tigers (0-5-2, 0-5-1 GLVC) are coming off defeats to No. 16 Maryville (4-0) and McKendree (9-0). UIS won the first meeting last season when Lincoln joined the conference in 2024.

6:00 p.m. – Volleyball vs. William Jewell (HOME)
UIS (6-8, 0-4 GLVC) looks for its first conference win after recent losses to UMSL (3-0) and McKendree (3-1). William Jewell (1-13, 0-3 GLVC) has similar goals after losses to Southwest Baptist and Drury. The all-time series is tied 8-8.

7:30 p.m. – Men's Soccer at Lincoln
UIS (2-6-2, 1-5-1 GLVC) aims to build momentum after tying 2-2 with Drury and falling 3-2 to Missouri S&T. Lincoln (6-0-2, 4-0-2 GLVC), nationally ranked at No. 12 last week, features a strong defense. UIS trails 0-1 since Lincoln joined the league last year.

Saturday, Oct. 11
All Day – Men's Tennis at Purdue Northwest
UIS men's tennis competes at a tournament hosted by regional opponent Purdue Northwest. Match assignments to come.

9:45 a.m. & 12:00 p.m. – Women's Cross Country at Lewis Crossover
The Prairie Stars, ranked No. 8 in the Midwest region by the USTFCCCA, compete in their top regular-season meet in Romeoville, Ill. This is the final showing before the Oct. 25 GLVC Championship. Open races are scheduled to take place after the men's and women's championship events.

10:30 a.m. & 11:15 a.m. – Men's Cross Country at Lewis Crossover
The men's cross country team looks to perform strongly against regionally and nationally ranked opponents. The meet serves as final preparation before the GLVC Championship. Championship races will be followed by open races.

3:00 p.m. – Volleyball vs. Rockhurst (HOME)
UIS faces Rockhurst (10-4, 3-0 GLVC), who are undefeated in conference play. The Prairie Stars have never defeated the Hawks, trailing 16-0 all-time. Rockhurst will play Quincy the night before arriving at UIS.

Sunday, Oct. 12
All Day – Men's Tennis at Purdue Northwest
Action continues and concludes in Hammond, Ind.

12:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer at Missouri-St. Louis
UIS meets UMSL (5-2-2, 4-0-2 GLVC), unbeaten in conference play. The Tritons recently defeated Lincoln 4-2 and tied No. 16 Maryville 1-1. UIS leads the all-time series 11-8-4.

2:30 p.m. – Men's Soccer at Missouri-St. Louis
UIS faces UMSL (2-3-4, 1-2-3 GLVC). The Tritons are coming off a 1-1 tie with Lincoln and a 5-1 loss to Maryville. UIS has dominated recent matchups, going 6-0-2 in the last eight games since 2018.
