Licensures & Certifications

As required by federal regulations (34 CFR §668.43) and in compliance with the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) Manual, the University of Illinois Springfield Department of Accounting indicates for each State in the table below whether the curriculum of the Accounting program meets or does not meet the educational requirements for licensure or certification in that State, or indicates that no determination has been made.

This disclosure does not guarantee any State licensure or certification authority will approve or deny your application for Accounting licensure. Furthermore, this disclosure does not account for changes in State requirements that may have occurred after June 12, 2020 which is the date the information in the table was last updated. Current and prospective students are encouraged to contact their State’s licensure authority using the links provided in the table to review all licensure and certification requirements pertaining to their State.
