UIS Students, Faculty, and Staff:
As part of our institutional accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), UIS is expected to select and pursue one major improvement effort during its 10-year accreditation cycle. This effort, known as the HLC Quality Initiative, is a great opportunity for UIS to critically examine our practices and make positive changes. The first step in the Quality Initiative process is to determine the areas that students, faculty, and staff feel should be addressed over the next several years.
