On June 23-24, the College of Public Affairs and Administration is hosting the 2022 Midwest Public Affairs Conference (MPAC). MPAC is affiliated with the American Society for Public Administration and is an organization promoting research, collaboration, and socialization across numerous groups, especially academics, practitioners, policymakers, and students.

The conference theme is “Designing and Running the Innovative Public Service Agency.” We have exciting things planned! Over 75 people will be attending and presenting. Presenters will examine critical public administration and public policy topics, including motivation; budgeting, finance, and taxation; ethics; policing; representativeness; public and nonprofit leadership and management; COVID-19; data and problem solving; bringing practitioner-academic divides; and more! Panels will feature time for audience Q&A and engagement.
