Teagan Ross chose the University of Illinois Springfield for “the small campus environment combined with the abundance of opportunities and programs.” She is president of Kappa Delta Pi (the International Honors Society in Education), sweetheart for Delta Kappa Epsilon, a member of Psi Chi (the International Honors Society in Psychology), a board member for the Student Organization Funding Association (SOFA), a resident assistant in Lincoln Residence Hall and a member of the Capital Scholars Honors Program. “My favorite part about UIS is all of the people I have met and opportunities I have gained,” she said. “I have so many memories and experiences I can treasure for the rest of my life and hold onto for my future career.” Following graduation from UIS, she hopes to teach either second or third grade. In the future, she hopes to earn a master’s degree and doctorate in education.

Leadership is lived at UIS. Every day.
