The UIS Softball team won both their games on Saturday on Day Two of the Space Coast Spring Games in Florida. The Prairie Stars improve to 13-7 on the year with the wins. GAME ONE VS CEDARVILLE (W, 9-6)
- UIS began the game by scoring 2 runs in the top of the first behind a Malia Bender RBI triple and Taylor Zawacki groundout to bring her home
- Cedarville scored two runs in the first on a throwing error followed by a wild pitch
- CU took the lead in the second with an RBI single
- Isabella Wilson tied the game on with a bunt to score Avery Hamilton in the fourth
- Addyson McClure scored on a wild pitch in the fifth to give UIS a lead
- The Yellow Jackets took a two-run lead in the bottom of the fifth behind an RBI single and a 2-RBI triple
- UIS started the comeback in the seventh with a 2-RBI from Jacy Watts
- Adi Rumler singled to give the Stars a 7-6 lead
- UIS added two more runs with RBI singles from Olivia DeLuca and Addyson McClure
- Rosie Bartletti (5-1) earned the win with 3.0 IP, 2 ER, and 4 strikeouts
- UIS went up 2-0 in the bottom of the first when Ella Brinkley's single was followed by a Malia Bender RBI triple. Bender would score on a sacrifice bunt by Taylor Zawacki
- Walsh matched UIS in the top of the second, then scored three more runs in the top of the third
- UIS added three runs in their half of the inning with two doubles, a single and a walk
- The Prairie Stars took the lead at 6-5 when Ella Brinkley homered in the fourth
- The Cavaliers matched UIS once more, making the most of two singles and a stolen base to stay alive
- Neither team would produce from the bottom of the fifth through the top of the seventh
- Ramsey Armstrong contributed a game-ending RBI single, avoiding extra innings and helping the UIS softball team to its fourth consecutive win
- Addy Girard went the final 4.2 innings in the circle to earn her first win as a Prairie Star
