Another big construction project is planned for UIS.

University of Illinois Systems trustees have approved $35 million for a library and “success center.” Associate vice chancellor Chuck Coderko tells WTAX news it’s a library — and more.

“All the services that the information technology folks bring, all the services that the academic success and advising units bring, and the career dev center; during these four years or so that (students) are in the higher eeducation institution, where they are really developing and working with advisors and IT and the library with what they are going to be doing later on in life; get their degree and move on in life.”
