Women in the Military

The Military and Veteran Student Services Office will be hosting ‘Stories of Empowering Women in the Military’. There will be women identifying veterans of the armed forces as guest speakers sharing their experiences on the field. They will speak on sexism and how they overcame and succeeded in a male-dominated workplace in addition to some hardships they’ve faced. It is an educational opportunity to learn how women have had to overcome gender bias challenges to demonstrate the capability to succeed in this highly demanding and often highly dangerous work environment. Food will be provided by Mission BBQ. so be sure to RSVP!
