Here is some information about Kristine:

Kristine Bunch was wrongfully convicted in 1996 for the accidental death of her 3-year-old son and spent 17 years wrongfully incarcerated in Indiana. Since her exoneration in 2012, thanks to the work of the Center on Wrongful Convictions, Kristine has become a powerhouse in the innocence movement and a close friend of IIP. She serves as the coordinator of the Exoneree Speakers Bureau for IIP’s Wrongful Conviction Awareness and Avoidance police training program. In 2024, IIP recognized Kristine’s nationwide advocacy on behalf of the wrongfully convicted and her commitment to training the next generation of law enforcement with its prestigious “Defender of the Innocent” award. You can find out more about Kristine Bunch on the National Registry of Exonerations.

Registration closes on Thursday, October 16, at 5:00 PM. Please make sure to RSVP by then.
