Join us for Shades: This Is My Village on Wednesday, October 7, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Diversity Center. We'll begin with a presentation exploring the meaning of community, defining terms often associated with belonging, support, and connection while reflecting on how community and family can be uniquely defined by each person. Participants will then have the opportunity to write a letter to someone on campus who has made a positive impact in their life, with encouragement to share their letter as a meaningful expression of gratitude and appreciation.
