SciFi Study Break

You deserve a break during finals week.  Stop in at the Campus Observatory on the 5th Floor of Brookens Library to have some candy, see some friendly faces, and watch a little science themed TV while you decompress a little.  We will be open 3-5 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during exam week.

The Campus Observatory is accessed through the inside of Brookens Library.  Go into the library and take the main stairwell up to the 5th floor.  The door for the observatory is next to the elevator.

Everyone is welcome.

Ice Skate

Join Campus Recreation on an ice skating trip. Cost is $5 and includes transportation, entry and skate rental. Spots are limited, so don't miss out!

Emergency Prep for Winter Travelers

Join members of the University of Illinois Springfield Police Department to learn about Emergency roadside kits! With winter weather approaching, we will be focusing on harsh winter weather conditions during travel, what to have in your emergency travel kit, and what each item is for. We will also have a raffle drawing to give away an Emergency Roadside Kit. 

BMCS Professional Photoshoot

The Black Male Collegiate Society is hosting a Professional Photoshoot designed to help students, and community members elevate their professional image. This event is open to everyone, regardless of major, organization, or class year, but it will only be available for a limited amount of time, so make sure you stop by early.
