Join us for Shades from 3 pm to 5 pm. Shades is a discussion-based event series for all UIS students, faculty, and staff. The goal of this series is to create a safe and affirming space through which we can explore topics of identity and bring together QTPOC (Queer & Trans* People of Color) students and allies on campus. Light snacks and refreshments are provided and all attendees are entered into a prize raffle!

Rooted in our mission to cultivate excellence, self-esteem, and community, the ceremony will honor the strength, grace, and resilience of Black women.
Join Campus Recreation and International Student Services for a ski/snowboard trip to Snowstar in Andalusia, IL!
Cost is $55 per current fee paying student and includes van transportation, lift ticket, ski/snowboard equipment rental, and a group lesson. You would still need winter clothes (hat, gloves, goggles or sunglasses and snowpants).
Registration must be done in person at TRAC and opens on Monday, January 12. Registration closes on Tuesday, January 27. Spots are limited, so register today!
