 Junior Elaine Grant set a new program record for the lowest 54-hole score in UIS women's golf history, leading the team to a ninth-place finish at the UMSL Spring Invitational. The Prairie Stars competed against a strong field of 18 teams, including four NCAA Division II top-50 programs, and wrapped up their regular season on Monday.

Tournament Recap
  • UIS opened the tournament in eighth place after posting rounds of 319 and 307 on Sunday. A final-round 317 on Monday brought the team's total to 943, good for ninth overall in a competitive field at Norwood Hills Country Club.
  • Grant tied for third place individually to earn a spot on the all-tournament team. She fired rounds of 74, 70, and 71 for a 54-hole total of 215 (+2), breaking the previous UIS women's golf record of 220 strokes set by Heather McLean during the 2023 season.
  • Ira Joshi placed 56th with rounds of 82, 78, and 82 for a total of 242 (+29).
  • Sara Prieto tied for 57th, shooting 80, 82, and 81 to finish at 243 (+30).
  • Lia Rody tied for 60th with scores of 83, 78, and 83 for a total of 244 (+31).
  • Isabelle Segal rounded out the lineup with rounds of 89, 81, and 88, tying for 83rd at 258 (+45).
