The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Breakfast, sponsored by the Springfield Frontiers International Club is held each year honoring the legacy of the civil rights leader. The event gathers community members from across the Springfield metro area for reflection, fellowship, and celebration.

The core purpose of the breakfast is “to foster and promote racial harmony by bringing together diverse ethnic groups from the Springfield area to fellowship, celebrate, and keep the King dream alive.” Attendees can expect an uplifting morning dedicated to unity, service, and continuing Dr. King’s vision of justice and equality for all.

Please note that if the event reaches capacity and a waiting list is required, the essay responses submitted with each registration will be used to determine attendance. Your thoughtful and complete response will help ensure that participants selected reflect the purpose and spirit of the event.
