Welcome to the exciting journey as a Prairie Star at UIS! We are thrilled that you have chosen our University! Our Orientation programs are designed to help you and your parents/family members on board as you embark on this new chapter in your life.
All first-time, first-year undergraduates and first-year undergraduate transfer students (bringing in less than 24 credit hours) are required to complete a hybrid Orientation, consisting of three parts:
