UIS Women's Golf Concludes Competition at William Beall Fall Classic

The University of Illinois Springfield women's golf team finished 15th at the William Beall Invitational, held at the Findlay Country Club at the start of the week. The team shot a total of 947 over three rounds, with scores of 315, 316, and 316.
Tournament Summary
Leading the way for UIS was Elaine Grant, who tied for 25th place overall. She posted rounds of 76, 73, and 79 for a total score of 228
Arya Gadeker finished with a score of 238 (77, 83, 78), tying for 61st
Sara Prieto recorded a total of 243 (84, 80, 79), finishing in a tie for 76th
Ira Josh completed the tournament with a score of 246 (79, 80, 87), finishing in a tie for 83rd
Isabelle Segal finished with a total of 253 strokes (83, 90, 80), placing her 88th
Findlay claimed the top spot with a total score of 870, while Missouri-St. Louis and Lynn followed closely behind, finishing with scores of 882 and 897 respectively
Amelia Ruiz of Lynn was the overall champion while host school Findlay had five finishers in the top ten
Up Next UIS faces a quick turnaround as they travel north to participate in the Lewis Flyers Fall Intercollegiate at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club on October 7-8.
