UIS Women’s Golf Climbs to Fifth at Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational

The UIS women's golf team delivered a solid performance at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational, capturing fifth place. The team improved significantly from a first-round score of 327 to a 306 in the second round, bringing their total to 633 strokes.
Tournament Recap
Elaine Grant led the Prairie Stars with rounds of 78 and 69, totaling 147 and placing her in third individually
Sara Prieto followed with rounds of 81 and 77, for a 158 total while Arya Gadeker totaled 159 strokes after rounds of 83 and 76
Ira Joshi posted 85 in both rounds for a total score of 170
Isabelle Segal rounded out the team, improving her first-round 89 to an 84, finishing with 173 strokes
