UIS Scholarship application available for 2024-25
The application for our donor-funded scholarships opens Wednesday, November 1, 2023. One application is used to apply for various scholarships- including Global Studies, Music, Visual Arts, Theatre and more! A variety of student populations can apply. This includes first-time freshmen, continuing, transfer, international, online, and graduate students. The link to access this application is: UIS Institutional Scholarship Application. Students need a NetID and password to login to the application.
Students will have until February 15, 2024, at 12:00pm CST to apply. Students should anticipate spending about 30-45 minutes to complete their application. This estimated time frame does not include the narrative essay portion.
Please note that it is highly recommended that all students eligible to complete the FAFSA, submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) prior to the scholarship deadline. Aside from other aid eligibility, many scholarships consider whether the student has financial need. The 2024-25 FAFSA will be available sometime in December.
Each year, hundreds of scholarships are available through our university alumni and friends. It is through their kindness and generosity that this assistance is possible. Just over $990,000 was awarded to approximately 300 UIS students for the 2023-2024 academic year!
