The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced its all-conference teams on Wednesday. Jordan Rice earned First Team honors while Jacob Hanna and Jack Weber made the Second Team. Hanna was also selected to the All-Defensive Team.

Rice is currently averaging 14 points (GLVC #14) and 4.7 rebounds (GLVC #3) per game. He had a career-high 27 points versus West Texas A&M earlier this season, a performance in which he made 10 field goals. 

Rice was selected to the league's All-Freshman Team in 2021-22.

Hanna has had a breakout season, scoring 448 points in 30 starts to average 14.9 points per game upon the end of the regular season. He scored 29 points on two occasions this season, first against regional opponent Purdue Northwest in December, then again against the reigning GLVC Champion McKendree Bearcats when the teams met in February. Hanna has now been selected to the All-Defensive Team in consecutive seasons.

Hanna ranks 3rd in the league in rebounding (222 rebounds, 2.6 avg), 7th in assists (97 ssists, 3.2 avg), 11th in field goal percentage (.529), and 12th in scoring (448 points, 14.9 avg).

Weber is a third-time All-GLVC honoree, as he was a unanimous First Team selection in 2022-23 and made the All-Freshman Team in 2020-21. He ranks seventh in the conference in field goal percentage, making 56% of 298 attempted shots during the regular season. Weber is 9th in the GLVC in the assists category, averaging 2.9 per game.

Weber became the program's Division II era all-time leading scorer this season, surpassing Jamall Millison's career 1,184 points. His current total of 1,316 points is approaching the program's all-time NAIA & Division II record of 1,457, set by Kelvin Johnson in 2009.

Jason Bergstrom was the GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award Honoree for UIS.

The top eight teams in the GLVC will meet at the league's championship tournament this weekend in St. Charles, Mo. UIS is set to meet the Lewis Flyers in the quarterfinal round at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
