The UIS Softball team lost both games of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon against Truman State in Kirksville, Mo. The Prairie Stars fall to 19-15 on the season with a 3-5 mark in GLVC play. The Bulldogs improve to 13-15 with a 5-1 conference record.

Truman once again took a lead in the first inning with an RBI single

TSU scored three unearned runs in the second with two singles to make it 4-0

The Bulldogs hit a home run in the fourth to increase their lead

UIS was able to finally get on the scoreboard in the seventh as Ella Brinkley singled in a run
