The UIS men's golf team completed the first round of the Flyers Fall Intercollegiate at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club on Monday, currently positioned in ninth place out of 17 teams as they head into Tuesday's second and final round.

The Prairie Stars are led by Jake Baldin, who sits in a tie for 3rd place after an impressive round of 72. Daniel Edwards followed with a score of 76, placing him in a tie for 21st, while Francesco Abba Jr. posted an 80, landing him in a tie for 50th. Julien Babineau and Brady Wilson rounded out the lineup for UIS, carding rounds of 82 and 85, respectively.
