Spend your Spring Break making a meaningful impact! Join the Volunteer & Civic Engagement Center for a week of service, community, and hands-on learning through the organization Appalachian Service Project in Virginia.
ASP brings volunteers together to repair homes, build relationships, and support families throughout Appalachia. No prior construction experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, serve, and work as part of a team.
What to Expect:
Home repair projects that improve safety, accessibility, and comfort. Work alongside home owners.
Team-based service and daily reflection activities
Opportunities to learn about Appalachian culture and community needs
Simple lodging and meals provided by ASP

Open to all UIS students. Space is limited— selection is competitive
