The UIS Police Department is launching a new safety training this fall to help our campus community know what to do during an active threat or active shooter situation.
Join us for an interactive one-hour session where you’ll learn simple, practical steps to protect yourself and others, understand how campus emergency alerts work, and have the chance to ask questions in an open, supportive setting.
We’re offering two opportunities to attend:
Thursday, November 20 at 4:45 p.m.
Friday, November 21 at 9:00 a.m.
Both sessions will take place in Brookens Auditorium.
This training is open to all UIS students, faculty, and staff, because preparedness is something we all share responsibility for.
