Cellist Keegan O’Donald performs regularly in solo, chamber music, and orchestral settings. He has appeared at the Green Lake Festival of Music, the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, and the Meadowmount School of Music. As an educator, Keegan teaches a private studio and has served as the cello teaching assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He is currently on the faculty at University of Illinois Springfield. 

Keegan has studied at St. Olaf College with David Carter, DePaul University with Stephen Balderston, and at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with Emilio Colon. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign with Daniel McDonough of the Jupiter String Quartet. 

His forthcoming doctoral dissertation examines historical performance practices of the Brahms cello sonatas. When not making music, Keegan enjoys cooking Italian cuisine.
