Claire Sokol plays on the UIS women’s soccer team, is treasurer of Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honors Society and an employee at the UIS Student Union. “I chose UIS because of the close-knit community-like atmosphere and to continue my athletic career,” she said. “The people at UIS are my favorite part. My professors and peers have played a vital role is making my time here memorable.” Following graduation, she plans to apply to become an Illinois Conservation Police officer.
