Announcements
- A virtual exchange course in Comparative Political Systems will be offered with the University of Colima for the fall of 2020. UIS students should contact the UIS Political Science Dept. for more details on registering for this opportunity.
- Study away programs, outgoing and incoming, have been canceled for the spring of 2021.
- The UIS short term, summer, study programs scheduled for 2021 in England and Japan are still scheduled to proceed. It is also anticipated that summer programs offered by Maynooth University in Ireland, Radboud University in the Netherlands, Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea and programs offered through NSE and ISEP will be offered. All will be dependent upon review of international travel safety.
Application Deadlines
The deadline to apply for travel scholarships related to studying abroad is Feb. 15th. This is for programs in the summer and fall of 2021 and the spring of 2022. In order to be eligible for the scholarships students must have submitted a Global Experience Program application to Study Abroad Programs before Feb. 15th.
