Description

One or two semester international exchange experience at partner university.

  • Students are charged UIS tuition and fees while studying full-time at a partner institution.
  • Large range of course offerings (typically in English) at the host university.
  • UIS Students study with other university students.
  • Financial Aid eligibility depends upon student’s financial aid award.
  • Travel scholarships are available based on student’s eligibility.
  • Travel Arrangements: student’s responsibility.

Courses

  • Students will enroll into at least 12 credit hours (undergraduates)/ 9 credit hours (graduates) at the host institution.
  • While on exchange UIS students are enrolled into ECCE: Global Experience Exchange – UNI 470. This course counts as an ECCE Global Awareness or general electives.
  • UIS course equivalencies are determined by a case by case basis.

Requirements/ Prerequisites

  • UIS student in good academic standing.
  • Host university’s requirements as applicable.
  • Out of pocket travel, living, & accommodation expenses.
