Can you give me a brief timeline of how your career led you to UIS?

I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and grew up in Mahomet, Illinois, where I graduated from high school in 1996. I played golf in high school and college before beginning a professional playing and teaching career with Troon Golf and Golf Digest in Scottsdale, Arizona. During that time, I was fortunate to earn a win on the Pepsi Tour.

To assist the university in snow removal, on Monday, January 26 all students and employees should park in a plowed parking area regardless of your parking hangtag. During a Snow Parking Day, vehicles parked in standard permit lots (blue stripes) with economy permits (yellow tags) will not be ticketed for unassigned lot violations.

The 4th floor of Brookens is being closed due to necessary roof repairs. Faculty and staff with workspaces on the 4th floor are being relocated and leadership will be communicating with their constituents about these new locations as soon as possible. We expect these moves to be complete within the next week.

Facilities and Services will be overseeing the inspection and testing of fire alarms the week of January 13-16. The alarm horns and the strobe lights will be activated intermittently as part of the test procedures to ensure all components of the system are working properly. Please note: You should not ignore any alarms sounding outside this schedule or alarms that sound for a prolonged length of time.
