Employee Development Series - Digital Accessibility: Enhancing Inclusivity and Usability

Please join us for the next installment of the monthly Employee Development Series - Digital Accessibility: Enhancing Inclusivity and Usability. This session will be presented by Vance Martin, Executive Policy Advisor for Accessibility at the University of Illinois System, and Carey Applegate, UIS Director of the Office of Digital Accessibility. Attendees will learn about the recent updates to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and how those new regulations will impact our campus over the next two years (and beyond).

All status (non-probationary) Civil Service employees are invited to submit online nomination forms for this year's Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) election.

Eight positions will be filled this year, each for a two year term. Nomination forms must be received by midnight, June 14, in order to be considered. Self-Nominations are allowed and welcomed.

We are excited to announce the next installment of our Employee Development Series: Building a Positive Workplace Through Customer Service Values. Right now, too many higher education institutions do not reflect positive and proactive workplace cultures and values. This has a direct impact on the customer service experience of our student, faculty, and staff as well as our broader community.

UIS is committed to protecting minors that visit campus so they can enjoy the wonderful events and programs our community offers. For departments that want to offer programs to minors (persons under the age of eighteen (18), our Protection of Minors page has detailed information on planning and hosting an event for young visitors.
