All status (non-probationary) Civil Service employees are invited to submit online nomination forms for this year's Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) election.

Eight positions will be filled this year, each for a two year term. Nomination forms must be received by midnight, June 14, in order to be considered. Self-Nominations are allowed and welcomed.

Please join us for the next session in our Employee Development Series: Building a Positive Workplace Through Customer Service Values.  This session will be presented by Dr. Travis Bland, Dr. Anne-Marie Hanson and the Customer Service Improvement Committee (CSIC). This session focuses upon enhancing customer service interactions among students, faculty and employees.

The general election will take place this year on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. This day is not designated as a holiday for universities in Illinois. However, time off to vote may be available in accordance with State of Illinois law.

The State Department of Central Management Services (CMS) has announced that the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Benefit Choice enrollment period will begin May 1 and end May 31, 2024. 

If you do not want to change health, dental, life or dependent coverage, your current elections will continue. Note: You must enroll or re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts each year.

The Annual Evaluation Process for Academic Professional and Civil Service employees has begun!  Human Resources is pleased to present an updated electronic version of the Annual Performance Evaluation to be used as of April 1, 2024.  While the structure, categories, and rankings should all look familiar, we made some minor changes to its functionality. As a reminder, supervisors will assign self-evaluations to their individual employees.
